Swiss Microfinance Platform

Under the patronage of the ILO, Symbiotics and the RAFAD Foundation, a meeting attended by the majority of Swiss microfinance actors was held to prepare for the Constitutive Assembly, which will take place October 4 in the ILO building in Geneva (Switzerland).

By assembling Swiss microfinance professionals, the Swiss Microfinance Platform intends to meet the needs of its members by bringing to light the specificities of the Swiss Financial place. It aims to improve services delivered by members in both the North and South, through promoting investment in products and development instruments.

The Swiss Microfinance Platform's originality lies in its intention to not separate the commercial and social objectives of microfinance, but to consider them intrinsically connected.
